Nomination for election to the board

Nominees must be nominated by either an affiliated club in QLD, NSW, VIC, SA, TAS and ACT, or Yachting WA or Yachting NT.

In accordance with the Australian Sailing Constitution, nominations are open from 45 days to 28 days prior to the AGM.

Nominations will be evaluated by the Nominations Committee in consideration of the skills matrix needed on the Board and to deliver the strategic plan, gender diversity requirements. For nominations received from clubs in QLD, NSW, VIC, SA, TAS and ACT, feedback may be sought from the respective Regional Advisory Committee.

Qualified candidates will be presented to Delegates for voting.
