Expression of Interest 2027 Australian Sailing National Youth Squad – Coaching Team

Australian Sailing is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from experienced and development-focused sailing coaches to join the 2027 Australian Sailing National Youth Squad coaching team.

Selected coaches will support youth sailors across a range of training activities throughout the 2027 program year. These roles focus on age and stage-appropriate coaching, long-term development, and fostering positive performance habits in a supportive and connected environment.

Up to six coaching positions may be offered. Coaches will work alongside AS staff and other appointed coaches to deliver camps, webinars, and ongoing squad support throughout the year.

• I confirm that I hold a valid Australian Sailing, Sailing Coach accreditation.
• I declare that all information provided in this form is accurate and complete.
• I consent to my information being shared with Australian Sailing Management for nomination purposes and, if successful, with relevant class associations, sailors, event organisers and service providers necessary for coaching delivery, travel, and logistics.
• If successful, I consent to Australian Sailing promoting my appointment as a coach before, during, and after the 2027 Australian Sailing National Youth Squad year via its website, social media, and other communication channels.
• I consent to Australian Sailing contacting my references and verifying my credentials.
• If successful, I commit to fostering a positive, safe, and supportive environment for youth sailors in the 2027 Australian Sailing National Youth Squad.
• I confirm my availability to attend and participate in the National Performance Camp at the Australian Institute of Sport, Canberra: 9-11 April 2027 and Lead the delivery of class-specific technical clinics (2–3 days) or other appropriate activity between July and December, in collaboration with Australian Sailing and or the relevant Class Association (dates and locations to be confirmed post-selection).
• I confirm that I have not breached the World Sailing Anti-Doping Policy or Australian Sailing Anti-Doping Policy, unless I have been sanctioned and have fully served any imposed sanctions.
• If successful, I will comply with Australian Sailing policies and any reasonable directions from Australian Sailing in relation to this appointment.
