Final summer stunner brings Sail Sydney 2018 to a close

Youth and Open classes enjoyed the best of Sail Sydney 2018, with three days of sunshine and nor’easters building each afternoon on Sydney Harbour. The regatta has kicked off a busy Australian summer of sailing, from Sabots and skiffs to supermaxis prepping for the Sydney Hobart race which is fast approaching.

Olympic classes decided at Sail Sydney 2018

Olympic class racing at Sail Sydney 2018 came to an end on Sydney Harbour today in fresh summer breezes 13 to 19 knots, with Australian Sailing Team and Squad athletes earning a swag of medals for their effort in mixed conditions over four days.

Cook Islands Sailing Program a success

As part of an Olympic Solidarity Program, Australian Sailing has been involved providing assistance to Cook Islands Sailing in the areas of program development, training of instructors and sports administrators and providing general guidance how to best grow the sport of Sailing.

Discounts on Australian Sailing Courses run in Queensland

Australian Sailing have been able to allocate some money received under a Queensland Government grant to provide discounts for Queensland clubs and members. The offer is strictly limited and will run until the end of 2019 or until the quota has been reached.
