EXTENDED: Water Relief Grants for Sporting Clubs
The Water Relief Grants for eligible sporting clubs has been extended until September. To support those clubs that have significant water bills to pay, the State Government will provide financial assistance towards water and sewerage bills issued between April and June 2020.

In line with the South Australian Government requirements Organisations are to ensure that all participants for indoor activities are to provide their name and phone number or email address on a Contact Tracing Form. The person conducting the activity retains a record of those contact details and produces them at the request of an authorised officer.

July launch for rejigged Working With Children Check
From 1 July 2019, South Australia’s child-related employment and volunteer screening will be replaced with a new Working With Children Check (WWCC), as legislated under the Child Safety (Prohibited Persons) Act 2016. The introduction of the new legislation is being led by the Department of Human Services (DHS).
