Overview

To become a Dinghy Racing Instructor, you need to upload a current Racing CV that outlines your experience racing dinghies. Ideally you will have experience in a variety of classes, as well as having raced at State and/or National Championship level.

Prerequisites

  • Racing experience in a range of classes, up to State and/or National level.

  • Hold a valid/current Australian Sailing Dinghy Instructor qualification.

Who should do this?

Becoming a Racing Instructor is for anyone who has ample racing experience themselves and is a current Dinghy instructor. It's aimed at those wishing to instruct the Dinghy Start Racing and Better Racing courses at an accredited Discover Sailing Centre.

Outcome

Pending you meeting the prerequisites, you will gain the Dinghy Racing Instructor qualification. Your renewal and re-accreditation dates will align with your Dinghy Instructor qualification.
