What’s On in December and January — Sail Our Way
Summer sailing is in full swing, and there’s no better time for women and girls to get out on the water with Sail Our Way. From beginner-friendly Discover Sailing sessions to advanced foil coaching clinics, the program offers hands-on learning, expert guidance, and plenty of opportunities to build confidence while connecting with other female sailors.
Here’s a look at the key events happening this month that you can get involved in:
Sail Our Way – Discover Sailing for Women
Port Stephens Yacht Club, NSW | Sun 21 Dec 2025 | 10:00am – 12:00pm
This flagship program offers women of all experience levels the opportunity to join a two-hour discover sailing session aboard the beautiful Beneteau Oceanis 46 - Champagne on Ice.
Under the guidance of Skipper Steve, you'll learn the basics of sailing, take the helm and experience the thrill of trimming sails and working the winches - all in a relaxed, supportive setting designed to build confidence and connection on the water.

SheSails Women Sailors & Supporters Meet-Up – Hosted by Nic Douglass
Royal Yacht Club of Tasmania, Hobart | Wed 31 December 2025 | 10:00am – 12:00pm
Now in its fourth year, the SheSails Women Sailors & Supporters Meet-Up returns to Hobart for a celebratory morning following the arrivals of the Rolex Sydney Hobart, Melbourne Hobart and Launceston Hobart races. Hosted by Nic Douglass, this gathering brings together women sailors and supporters to connect, share stories, and continue the conversation on how to grow participation in women’s sailing.

She Sails Wing/iQFOiL Foil Coaching Clinic
Wangi Amateur Sailing Club, NSW | Sun 18 – Mon 19 January 2026 | 9:00am
Take your sailing to the next level with this two-day coaching clinic from the Australian Wing Foil Racing Class Association. Participants will refine foil racing techniques under expert guidance, gaining hands-on experience in a supportive environment.
