Sunshine Sailing wins the Day for Val Hodge Trophy 2026
Sunday15 March Royal Yacht Club of Victoria (RYCV) hosted their club signature female helm race, the Val Hodge Trophy incorporating Race Day 3 of the Port Phillip Women’s Championship Series (PPWCS) 2025-26 in sublime sunshine and light breezes, bringing out an eager fleet.

2026 RS Aero State Titles a hit at Sorrento!
Over the March long weekend, 46 keen RS Aero sailors travelled down to Sorrento for the 2026 RS Aero State Titles. We were lucky enough to get a full set of six races in. We had one international competitor and 10 interstate sailors, all looking to gain valuable local knowledge in the lead up to the 2027 Salty Dingo RS Aero World Championships.

WISC Regatta 2026 brings out Female Helms
Sandringham Yacht Club staged their annual WISC (Women in Sailing Challenge) regatta on Sunday 1 March for their two race short course racing division which included hosting Race Day 2 of the Port Phillip Women’s Championship Series (PPWCS) attracting boats from other clubs. An additional cruising division with a longer single race encouraged more female sailors to take up the helm for the day.
