Entries Open for 2026 Australian Yachting Championships

Entries have opened for Australia’s spectacular offshore sailing regatta, The Yacht Sales Co Sail Paradise 2026. Now in its 17th year and incorporating the Australian Yachting Championships, Southport Yacht Club’s multi-day yacht racing event is staged across the Queensland King’s Birthday long weekend in October.

With the Gold Coast home to so many fantastic resorts, attractions and things to do, Sail Paradise is the perfect opportunity for your crew and their families to enjoy a quintessential Queensland long weekend holiday. Set along the GC’s iconic ocean front skyline, your sponsors will love the photo and filming opportunities too, with the action kicking off with the Welcome Party on Friday October 2.

In 2026, Sail Paradise will for the first time incorporate the Australian Yachting Championships, showcasing world-class offshore racing along the Gold Coast’s stunning coastline.

The festivities continue onshore each day with the regatta taking over the Main and Quarter Decks at SYC’s Main Beach Marina. Catch up on the race results, interactive trackers, roasts, presentations and video highlights capturing all the action and antics each day.

Free berthing available from Thursday 1st to Tuesday 6th October for visiting boats.
