Australia Day 2026 Harbour Parade: Registrations now open!

There’s no better place to be on Australia Day than sparkling Sydney Harbour! Here’s your chance to be part of the annual Harbour Parade where you can dress up your boat and crew.  
  
The Harbour Parade is the ‘fashions afloat,’ for boats and their crews dressed in their most flamboyant Australia Day style to parade on the harbour in a wonderful display of national spirit and pride.  
 
Join us in the world-famous Sydney Harbour on January 26 with the exciting Australia Day Harbourfest program offering an abundance of free and fun events for all to enjoy across sea, shore and sky. 
 
Vessels of all shapes and sizes are invited to join the flotilla for free – and to top it off, all participants will be granted access to a prime viewing position to view the iconic Ferrython race from on the water.  
 
Awards will be presented to the winning vessel in each of the following categories:  

·                     Budgie Smuggler Award — Best Small Vessel  
·                     Best in the Biz Award — Best Commercial Vessel  
·                     Hello Sailor! Award — Best Newcomer  
·                     The Captain’s Choice Award — Best Dressed  
·                     Going Overboard Award — Most Imaginative  
 
You can dress your vessel any way you like – there is no set theme! Previous participants have indulged their artistic flair with flags, Australian flora and fauna and Aussie icons.
