2024 State Sailing Summits - Fast approaching

Club and Class committee members are invited to attend this year’s State Sailing Summits and encouraged to register ASAP.

- NSW - Saturday 4th May - Georges River Sailing Club
- TAS - Saturday 18th May - Derwent Sailing Squadron
- ACT – 25th May – Canberra Yacht Club
- VIC - Saturday 1st June – Royal Brighton Yacht Club
- WA - Saturday 15th June - Royal Perth Yacht Club
- SA - Saturday 29th Jun - Brighton & Seacliff Yacht Club
- QLD - Saturday 13th July - Southport Yacht Club
This years Summits will focus on three themes:
- Partnerships and Collaboration
- Participation and Retention
- Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
Based on feedback from the community there will be more club and class case studies and examples and more opportunity for questions and discussion with a panel Q&A session to wrap up each of the three themes.
Sailing Summits provide a great opportunity for clubs and classes to share information and ideas and to learn the latest from Australian Sailing on new initiatives, resources, and projects. Hear from content experts as well as those within Clubs, Class Associations and Discover Sailing Centres who have a great idea, resource or success story to share.
Sailing Summits provide an annual opportunity for the decision makers of the sailing community to get together with Australian Sailing senior management and Board Members.
Who should attend?
Sailing Summits are a great way to collaborate with the sailing community. The Sailing Summits are free to attend and open to:
- All committee members of Clubs, Class Associations and Discover Sailing Centres
- Club General Managers
- Sailing Managers
- Discover Sailing Centre Principal’s
- Head Instructors/Coaches
