Course Overview

The Club Race Officer Re-accreditation Course is aimed at updating Australian Sailing members in the basics to conduct consistent, fair and safe club racing.

To become re-accredited as an Australian Sailing Club Race Officer you are required to:

  • Be a member of an Australian Sailing affiliated club.
  • Attend a Club Race Officer Re-accreditation Seminar, or
  • Supply to a Letter of Endorsement from your AS affiliated Club or class association.

Currently Club Race Officers may wish to accredit via submitting evidence of prior seminar attendance or a Letter of Endorsement from your club or class association (within the last four years). Evidence can be submitted to Australian Sailing via the Club Race Officer Re-accreditation Application Form.

Registration at the top of this page allow you to enrol in an available Re-accreditation Seminar.

It is important to note that this seminar may be presented in Face to Face or webinar format. When registering, the seminar name and details will identify the format in which the seminar will be delivered.

Course Prerequisites

Currently Qualified as an Australian Sailing Club Race Officer.

If using the Re-accreditation Form you will need to have evidence of seminar attendance or a Letter of Endorsement obtained and ready to upload into the form.

Course Price

This is a free course provided by Australian Sailing (The Officials polo is no longer provided).

Who should do this course?

This course is for anyone looking to reaccredit their Club Race Officer qualification and continue to volunteer as an official at Club and State level events.

Course Outcome

Participants will become re-accredited as a Club Race Officer; an individual in charge of all on water activities at club or singular championship course and manages all associated race officials and volunteers.
