National Equipment Auditor Scheme

The National Equipment Auditor (NEA) Scheme provides a system for Organising Authorities to nominate National Equipment Auditors to audit boats for Category 1 to 7 races, and Club Equipment Auditors (CEA) for Category 3-7 races.

To gain a new accreditation as an Equipment Auditor please register for one of the following seminars listed below or contact your State Regional Manager to discuss potential future seminars.

Equipment Auditors Qualification Renewals

If you have previously been accredited but have not renewed or refreshed your CEA or NEA accreditation since 2017, attendance to a free equipment auditing seminar is required to update your qualification and become familiar with the 2017-2021 Special regulations and relevant documents.

Australian Sailing is inviting all accredited Equipment Auditors due to expire in 2018 to continue their participation and re-accredit.

To prepare an Equipment Auditors Online Application Form for accreditation renewal, please read the Accreditation Criteria and check for upcoming seminars (listed bellow) in your local area if you are required to complete further training.

If you have any questions specific to your status as an Equipment Auditor, contact Greg Dixon at Australian Sailing at greg.dixon@sailing.org.au or on (02) 8424 7445.
