Sporting Schools  engages more than 850,000 children across Australia in the country’s largest school-based participation programme.

Sporting Schools Information:

Australian Sailing has partnered with the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) to offer sporting programmes to children before, during or after school.

Discover Sailing Centres and Instructors who deliver Tackers may register for Sporting Schools. This provides opportunities to connect with schools, attract new members and coaches, and improve exposure to sailing within the community.

Sporting Schools offers free training and development opportunities as well as a range of online resources for sporting organisations, coaches, teachers and parents.

Australian Sailing is proud to be involved in Sporting Schools by supporting the delivery of Tackers to schools and children within the programme.

Australian Sailing encourages all qualified Dinghy Instructors to register with Sporting Schools today - it's free!

Funding:

Term 4 Sporting Schools funding is now open. Register and lodge your funding application today to get your students active, engaged and having fun!

More than 4,300 schools have already benefitted from the Australian Government’s $100 million Sporting Schools program, providing their students with NSO endorsed sporting opportunities before, during and after school.
