To celebrate International Women's Day 2021 Australian Sailing would like to salute all those making a difference to female participation in Sailing. There are so many great contributors around Australia, and today we are excited to share the details of some of these special people and the work they do.
On 1 February 2021, important changes were made to Registration to Work with Vulnerable People worker screening. These changes affect both you as an employer and your registered employees/workers including volunteers.
Following the closure of Rottnest Island to the public last year, the RIA has agreed to offer a refund of the admission fee and the annual mooring licence fee for a period equivalent to the length of the island closure (approximately 20% of the year).

Entry to Airlie Beach Race Week 2021 is open and organisers at Whitsunday Sailing Club (WSC) are confident of large numbers following the success of last year’s event, one of the rare major sporting events to go ahead in Australia since March 2020, and yachties are keen to return to racing following a hiatus.
